Day 1: Arrival and transfer to your hotel in kigali
On your arrival at the airport in Kigali, you will be welcomed and be picked by your trained tour guide from Nextgen Safaris Africa who will brief you about your 10 Days Rwanda and Uganda Gorilla Safari and then take you through the kigali city to have fun and then get to see a number of attractions such as the museums ,the Murambi and the Gisozi genocide memorial site .From there , he will transfer you to the hotel where you will refresh up , have dinner and then rest to prepare for the next day .

Day 2: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
On this second day , you will have to wake up very early in the morning , have your cup of coffee and then set off for your journey to the volcanoes national park .This will take you a small period of time like two hours depending on the lodge where you spent a night .As you reach , you will be checked in and then directed to the lodge where you will spend your over night . You will then refresh up and then prepare to have lunch .
You will rest for some time and then have an evening walk in the evening in the volcanoes where you will get to see some animals in the park like the elephants ,buffaloes which are a few in number and you will also get to see the green vegetation .From there , you will have to transfer back to the lodge have dinner and then prepare for the next day .
Day 3: Gorilla Trekking Experience
On this third day, you will not need to awake yourself. The singing birds in the forest will awake you will their sweet melodies which will be had in your ears then you will automatically have to wake up and prepare yourself ,have your warm breakfast and then by 7 am you will have to set off to the jungle for trekking .
Before you start the trekking , you will have a short briefing from your tour guide from the headquarters who will give you rules and the regulations about trekking .You will be reminded to carry a bottle of water to help you during the hiking not to feel too tired and dizzy.
Since you have known the rules and the regulations you will then start the trekking by 8 am where you will be helped by your tour guide to tress the mountain gorillas family because it is not really easy as you think .These families may have gone too far deep in the forest to feed therefore these trained tour guides follow the foot prints of these gorillas till they find the gorillas.
Once you find them , you are allowed to stay with them for over one hour with them having fun with them and taking photos .After the trekking , you will then set off go back to the lodge have lunch , relax for some time and then prepare to have an evening nature walk in the park as you get to see the few species of animals in the park such as the buffaloes , warthogs to mention but a few .You will also get to see the beautiful land scape and nature .From there you will head back to the lodge to refresh and then have dinner preparing to rest .
Day 4: Golden monkey trekking and transfer to Bwindi
You will have to wake up very early in the morning , grab your self a cup of coffee to warm up your self and then you will be picked by your guide to take you for a brief briefing at the park headquarters on how to trek the monkeys .From there , you will head into the jungle and then start trekking .Once you find these monkeys , you are given ample time to take photos and then have some time with them .From there will immediately set off for your journey to Kisoro in mgahinga national park.
This will take some good time to reach .As you reach the park , you will be checked in and directed to the hotel or lodge where to spend a night .On this day , there will be no activity to be done since you have reached late .Therefore , you will refresh , have your meals and then rest to prepare for the next day .
Day 5: Gorilla trekking in the park.
You will have to wake up very in the morning ,and get to the headquarters to first have a short briefing on how to trek the gorillas in this park .From there since you claim that you have got the rules , you enter into the second smallest national park in Uganda to start trekking .Since the gorilla families some times graze from far , you will be helped by the ranger to trees them following the foot prints .Once you find them , you are given ample time to take photos and have fun with them.
From there , you can go back to the lodge where you spent a night to have lunch , and then rest to prepare for the cave exploration .you will then go back to the lodge , have dinner and rest for the next day .
Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
You will have to wake up very early in the morning , grab your self a cup of tea and then set off to to queen Elizabeth national park . As you reach the park , you will be checked in and then directed to the lodge where to spend a night .You relax ,have your lunch and then get to the park to do an evening game drive where you will get to see a number of animals such as the lions , the leopard , buffaloes to mention but a few .From there , you will head back to the lodge , refresh , have dinner and then prepare for tomorrow.
Day 7: Get to the Park for Lion trekking in the Ishasha and then a Game-Drive
You will wake up very early in the morning ,take your tea to warm up and then get to the park to do lion trekking in the ishasha sector. This is so unusual in any park in Uganda ,therefore clients come to see that different thing here .Once you finish trekking , you will get to the lodge , have lunch and then relax to prepare for an evening game drive where you will get to see a number of animals such as the leopards , the buffaloes and some birds for those who are bird lovers .You will then get back to the lodge, have dinner and then rest for the next day .
Day 8: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi and then boat cruise.
You will have to wake up, have your breakfast and then set off to lake bunyonyi .This is the deepest lake in Uganda so far .It is a good place that helps the visitors to relax and have fun by seeing the great views of the land scape and the islands of the lake where the girls of the bakiga were dropped when they became pregnant you will get to the lodge have lunch and then go for boat cruise . From there you will get to the lodge in bunyonyi overland resort to relax and have dinner to prepare for the next day .
Day 9: Transfer to Kampala and then do City tour.
You will have to wake up very early in the morning , have your morning tea and then set off to Kampala .As you move you will get to see the beautiful sceneries and the landscape not forgetting the green vegetation .You will get to the city , be directed to the hotel where you will refresh , have your lunch and then go for the city tour .In this city tour , you will get to see a number of attractions such as the museums , the kabaka tombs , the Baha’i temple to mention but a few .From there you will go back to the lodge , relax , have dinner and then rest to prepare for the next day .
